Video & MP3 Add-ons (Security)

  • I’m looking for a add-on that can play anytime of video format. Same for playing MP3 on wordpress as well? The reason why I ask is I know some add-ons have security holes which make your blog vulnerable and I don’t need that as I’ve run into it before.

    I noticed that wordpress 2.7 can view QuickTime etc files, which is what I’m after. Although I would like to know if there is any better alternative ? I’ve tried this plugin MP3 Player for WordPress
    although I can’t get it to work, it plays the MP3 files with a player inside wordpress even though the instructions are simple, it’s not working for me. Unless someone has a better route ?
