• Hello,
When typing aljabal.be on a search engine (Google, DuckDuckGo…), it leads to the login page instead of the website itself.

This is very annoying because many visitors do type aljabal.be in search engines in order to access the website. With this error, they cannot access it.

I hope someone can help me.
    Fran

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Yes, google’s top search result redirects to login page.
Duckduckgo’s top search result open your home page, there’s no problem.
Yet Duckduckgo’s second search result reads:

We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us.

    and there’s a link https://aljabal.be/wp-admin/
Bing reads the same but that’s top search result.

I would recommend to change your robots.txt file, just remove

    Disallow: /wp-admin/

wait a few days to see if there’s any difference.

Thanks for quick reply, iframe ??

I can’t find robots.txt. In which folder is that file?

    You are welcome.
That’s in your root folder, I can see it as
    https://aljabal.be/robots.txt

I just realised I coudn’t find it because by default, it’s a virtual file, thus not on the server.

So I just created it, applied the change you suggested and added it to my root folder.

Thanks for your suggestion ! I’ll wait a few days and see… If it didn’t work, I’d come back here to you if you don’t mind ??
