I had no idea about how many attacks are made to an installation of WP until I installed this plugin.
Very easy to configure, it gives you a good protection; now I install it on any WP website I make.
Highly suggested also because the basic (free) functions are quite extended so that there are no severe limitations.

Thank-you for your wonderful review of Wordfence @paulewhite and providing 5 stars here on www.remarpro.com to help other potential users when making a decision for their own security plugin.

“Wordfence Free” includes a high percentage of the base features that our paid services do, so we’re delighted you’re happy with it and the way the features are presented.

It?can?be quite alarming to suddenly see a record of the humans and bots hitting your site with URLs that don’t exist, trying out usernames, or being blocked for trying to access certain areas/plugins. They are usually just testing for the low-hanging fruit where a vulnerable version of a plugin hasn’t been updated, there are no security measures in place, or where there might be an easily guessed username/password combination – so you’re well protected just by having Wordfence installed to spot these for you.

It’s great to hear you’re happy with how user-friendly everything is as we release the plugin with all kinds of server/site configuration and admin experience levels in mind.?Seeing that you now install Wordfence across all of your WordPress sites is appreciated!

    All the best,
    Peter.
