I have very strange issue with the settings of W3 Total Cache

After I change setting at Page Cache -> Adding some pages to clear cache after new article all settings of W3 Total Cache are cleared and I need to start configuring it from scratch

Any ideas what can cause this?

    Hello @rosen4o

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!

Just to confirm, after clearing the cache (please clarify “Adding some pages to clear cache after new article”), in the General settings, all the previously enabled options are not enabled anymore and the plugin is reverted to the default settings?
    Thanks!

I have some options configured at W3 Total Cache

I’m opening Page Cache and in the field for clearing page cache on save entering 2-3 urls. One per line.

On save all settings on this page and all other pages are cleared and I need to configure W3 Total Cache from scratch.

I have found some more information

If I enter on once multiple rows like this

    /news/category/
    /news/category/category1/

    Then all settings are cleared

    Can I add something like

    /news/category/*

    Hello @rosen4o

    Thank you for your feedback.
I am sorry however I am not sure which settings you are reffering to.
To clarify this, you added these uris to the additional pages section in the Page Cache settings, and once you purge all cache, the entire cache is cleared?
Can you please specify what you are trying to achieve because I am not sure what that is?
When you add pages to the Advanced Pages filed, it means taht those pages will be purged additionaly to other pages and not that ONLY those pages will be cached.
So can you please clarify what you want to achieve so I am able to assit you more with this.

    Thanks!

Maybe I did not explain very well.
When I open page Performance -> Page Cache and in the section Purge Policy: Page Cache in the field Additional pages:

    Entering multiple rows like this.

    /news/category/
    /news/category/category1/

Click save -> and all setting of W3 Total Cache are cleared and I need to start configuring it from scratch.

    Hello @rosen4o

    Thank you for your feedback.
So to confirm, when you click save, the Page Caching is disabled for example?

    Thanks!

    Hello @rosen4o

    Thank you for your feedback.

I am unable to replicate this. Once I added the mentioned lines to Performance>Page Cache>Purge Policy>Additional Pages field, and click save I can see at the top of the page:
    Page caching via?Disk: Enhanced?is currently?enabled.
And all other settings are still enabled.

Can you please drop us a note directly via the plugin in Performance>Support and mention this topic so we can take a closer look?
    Thnaks!
