Very slow site when PRO version is active

  • I had to switch off the PRO version because when this is activated, requests take around 6 seconds to complete. On the other hand, when the PRO version of the plugin is switched off (free version active) requests take less than 1 second, which is the expected behaviour.
    Having to wait around 6 seconds for a simple Ajax request to be completed is not acceptable at all.
    Hope they can fix it in future releases. For the last 6 months it has been always like this (no improvement on performance).
    If you experience an unexpected slowness on your site, switch off the PRO version!

    Can you please confirm if you opened support tickets with us as we were not able to map your PRO account to our website?

    Which AJAX request are you mentioning here? Please let us know so we can try and reproduce on our end.

    We do not have any such reports from our PRO account users.

    Hello, no I didn’t open any ticket. I purchased the PRO version of the plugin around 8 months ago but I am bringing this up now. I spent few weeks wondering/investigating why my site was so slow until I realised it was because of the PRO version plugin. Sadly, I had to deactivate it.

    The slowness happens on Worpdress ajax requests (admin-ajax.php file). No idea why but when the plugin is switched off all works smooth as expected.
