Very slow sending speed

    Hello, I’m using the Newsletter plugin to send emails to a base of just over 3,000 people. I’m using the Amazon SES delivery service. Amazon says I can send messages to up to 12 recipients per second. However, that is not the case. Below are the details that appear under “Status”:

    Sending an email is taking more than 1 second, rather slow. Read more. Average time to send an email: 280.49 seconds
Max speed: 12.83 emails per hour
Max mean time measured: 395.25 seconds
Min mean time measured: 44.67 seconds
Total email in the sample: 100
Runs in the sample: 100
Runs prematurely interrupted: 96.00%

    Why does this happen and what would be the most appropriate solution?

    Hi, are you using Amazon SES with our Amazon SES Addon? If so, please open a ticket at https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com.

    If you’re sending via amazon using another plugin try to ask the author of that plugin if there is any log to check.

    Amazon SES cannot be so slow, there should be some other problem.
