    Hello,
We use Events Calendar Pro 4.7.2 and WordPress 5.2. with The7 7.6.1 theme. Opening a recurring event to edit in WordPress admin takes a few minutes.
    Could you help.

@devmodernminds I have the exact same problem and after sharing with the team of Modern Tribe a detailed log of my site’s behavior with the event calendar + event calendar pro running in the background, I was told that they could not identify the issue, but that a brand new version of the plugin is coming in the next few weeks/month and that might solve my issue.

FYI, I deactivated all my plugins + activated WP’s default “Twenty Seventeen” theme on a staging version of my site, with only the event calendar running + event calendar pro. I had the exact same problem: editing recurring events with multiple recurring fix dates (ex for one event: 12/6/2019, 1/7/2019, 3/5/2020) take AGES. The page needs 4 minutes to fully load (with only a set of 8 dates to edit). Recurring events like “third Monday of the month” or “May, June,
September” do not show any lag. When the event calendar Pro is deactivated, the page loads like a charm. So the issue here is definitely not my install, but rather a coding issue within the event calendar pro.

When I’m running the Query Monitor plugin, it show warning from “Core” and from “the event calendar” plugins (wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:286 and
    wp-content/plugins/the-event-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Assets.php:65)

Since other users seem to be having the same issues, and considering the less than satisfactory answer we’ve received so far (4 months after reporting this issue for the first time), I thought I’d share my feedback to help others identify the cause of the problem.

    Cheers,
