The admin-ajax.php loads in over 5 seconds. In Chrome DevTools, the Preview in Network tab is showing me that this is due to the 3rd scripts that I choose to conditional load via this plugin (analytics scripts and all that, that are loaded once the user accepts the cookie).

If the user has not accepted cookies or you choose not to load any scripts with this plugin, everything is good. If you disable the plugin, again, no problem with admin-ajax.php. I tried to load the scipts with another GDPR plugin, no ajax issue. So this is 100% the plugin’s issue.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your comments on this.

Could you please provide me your site URL to check how it’s working on your end?

Our plugin just load the scripts using admin-ajax.php but if your 3rd party scripts are loading slow, or your server performance is not good enough this could slow the injection process.

I look forward to your reply.

I agree with Derezomov. For some time now my sites have slowed down largely due to this plugin. If I turn it off, they get faster, or to be more accurate normal speed. I really don’t understand how you can have a simple elegant plugin which does the job well, and it can be running into so many problems three or four months down the line. I am still seeing the moove logo missing error on some sites and they have all been upgraded to the latest version. I am using the plugin on around 25 sites. I get periodic 500 errors, things are slow to load. There is definitely a problem here, and has been for some time

    Hi Derezomov, Wingers574

Please update the plugin to the latest version (1.2.1), we’ve improved the admin-ajax.php request.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

I’ve just updated to the latest version of the plugin and activated it – the admin-ajax.php slow loading time is still there, unfortunately ??

Sorry I can’t help you with debugging, I run a small online store, so I don’t keep your plugin active, as it would slow down the website too much and I can’t afford that. This is why I installed another GDPR plugin. While I would prefer to use yours, I only activated it now, to see if the latest update solves the loading time.
