• While reading some articles on seopressor.com website, I noticed how nice their social share bar looked. I had been looking for a good one for a while to add to a new site that is under production.

I peeked at the source code and found <!–www.crestaproject.com Social Button in Content Start–>. A quick search brought me here and to their website.

Thanks to all those before me who took time out to write reviews. I looked at a couple of other similar plugins here, but that “gut feeling” said “Cresta’s is going to be the one.”

One recommendation that perhaps the developers may consider: For social shares where a “description” is included, the plugin takes that value from the page/post title. I tend to keep my pages/posts titles very short and to the point for easy reference. If there were an option to use the meta description from Yoast, All-In-One-SEO and Seopressor for the meta description text passed with Twitter and Facebook, that would be great!

Overall: Great job. The plugin is simple to setup, there were absolutely no hassles, and it’s laid out so intuitively, that its very easy to understand the settings. A remarkable amount of flexibility too. I picked up the paid version for 3-5 sites. It’s priced modestly, does everything I want. I’d rather pay for that, than save a few bucks spending a day or two going through free ones to find something close.
