Very Simple Contact Form

Dear All i am using Very Simple contact form. All work well. but i do not get some line in code. 1) “label_name => __(‘Name’, ‘verysimple’) here we see why we use verysimple in every lable. what is this parameter?
2) if we remove first name and last name inputs. will it work? because we do not need it.
