    Hi @enumis,

    Thank you for your review.

How did you test the plugin on your website?

I am here to help you and I would be happy to clarify this matter with you. I think it’s always better to ask for help first and then rate the plugin. It’s more honest. If you only add an opinion, I can’t do anything with it – it does not affect the development of the plugin. It’s a different story when you add a thread on the support forum and describe the issue. Then I can take care of it, analyze it carefully and find a solution. After the whole thing, you can evaluate the plugin, assessing the plugin itself and the level of technical support. Don’t you think this is a better way?

Many people look at image URLs. Our plugin does not change URL addresses – the principle of operation is different. Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:
    https://mattplugins.com/docs/how-to-test-converter-for-media-plugin

I would be grateful if you would let us clarify this matter.

I understand your frustration, but it’s probably unnecessary. I think the root of the problem is your misunderstanding of how the plugin works. If there was a problem with the plug-in operation, you would receive an appropriate message in the plugin settings page. If you didn’t have it, it means the plugin works without any problems.

    Best,
    Mateusz

I have about 50 plugins and I have no time to write every author of non-working plugin. Delete and forgot.

Thank you for your answer @enumis!

Have you read my message above carefully? Please tell me how you tested the operation of the plugin. Your negative review has a negative impact on my plugin, and I feel like this rating is undeserved. It results from a misunderstanding of how the plugin works.

You will find this information on how the plugin works in several places, such as the plugin description on www.remarpro.com, a pinned thread on the support forum and a side widget in the plugin settings panel.

@enumis On your profile you have the URL of your website, is this the website where you installed the plugin?

From what I can see, I’m using an HCDN server, which is rare. This server has built-in image optimization, as evidenced by the following headers returned by your server:

    • Server: hcdn
    • X-Hcdn-Cache-Status: HIT
    • X-Hcdn-Image-Optimizer: f:webp q:80 w:0

All images on your website are available in WebP format because your server optimizes them for this format itself. Here’s the proof.

So, if all the images on your website are available in WebP format, what do you expect from a plugin to convert images to WebP format? After all, your server does it itself.

@enumis I checked that you used to post on the support forum and added your thread there. You added your thread on May 20, 2023 at 3:56 pm, and I replied to you on May 20, 2023 at 4:10 pm. This means you waited less than 15 minutes for a response. So as you can see, I make sure that anyone using my plugin gets help quickly.
