Very nice…except the home page

this is a very nice plugin. Easy to use. I only have one problem. All pages redirect properly EXCEPT the home page. I am moving a site from one url to another. The former developer did the work on godaddy’s builder and thus all the pages come out as HTML pages.

Every other page redirectly properly, but when I add the /home.html, instead of going to the home page, it pulls up this “coming soon” page:

https://thepaddockridingclub.com/home.html

vs
https://thepaddockridingclub.com/

Please advise before I do the google change URL process. The home page, which was formerly home.html, needs to map into the actual home page of the new site.
