• I like this because it allows one to react in many different ways in posts and comments. And it looks nice and doesn’t take up a lot of space. One issue though is if you turn on IP privacy, someone is able to react repeatedly. If improvements are considered, then I suggest the following:

    1) Add an option to track by logged in user, and also that would mean only people logged in can use it.
    2) That would solve the reacting over and over again but for those would want to allow visitors to react then there would have to be another way to prevent excessive reacting. Or, at least a warning that if you turn on IP obfuscation then people will be able to react over and over.
    3) I hope you can one day add the ability to delete reactions.
    4) A widget showing most reacted posts would be cool too.

Really appreciated for the review and feedback.

I tested the GDPR mode(IP privacy), I can’t reproduce the repeatedly react issue. May I know what is logged in your reaction list? Is the hashed IP different for one same IP visitor?

    1) Sounds good. Will give an option to only allow logged in user to react.

    2) Repeated reaction needs to debug, might be a bug.

    3) Will add an option to delete reactions from reaction list.

    4) Will do.

    Update:

    1) Done. Will be in v1.4.

    2) Found the bug. Will fix in v1.4 too.

    3) Will be in v1.4.

Thank you! But, if I turn off guest reacting, even though I’m logged in, I can’t react. For now I’ll allow guests to react so that it works. Still a very nice plugin. It just needs a little more testing/debugging I think. Thank you for responding to my feedback! Have a great week!

Did you do a hard refresh or try incognito window? The JS is changed. Not sure it’s caused by your browser cache.

Also, what does the error say when you can’t react? Is there any console error log? Note: Logged in users reactions limitation is also per emoji per IP.

If you don’t mind, can you create a topic in forum with more info so I can have a look on your site? Thanks.

You’re right. It was my browser cache. It works great! Thank you! ??

@wpdo5ea The latest updates are amazing. I hope more people find this plugin. Now that it has views AND a widget it’s the full package. And, you made the views template easily editable! I swapped out dashicons in the template for font awesome since my site uses those icons. It looks great!

I’ve used many different “likes” and reaction WordPress plugins. This one is now if not the best, definitely right up there with the best. ??
