Very long load time if Captcha is activated!

It’s really frustrating! With activated captcha the site of a client running on Windows Server takes up to 25 seconds to load! Even pages without contact form need very long because captcha plugin is still running in the background! Any idea?
System:
Windows NT KLW-RZ6-WEB7 6.1 build 7601 (Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition Service Pack 1) i586Page: (captcha is deactivated at the moment!)
