Very limited choices
-
I had seen the high reviews and was expecting a lot. I have been using it now for the last day and I keep seeing the same articles over and over again. So it does not appear to me that many people are actually using it or I would expect to see a larger assortment of articles. Also, many of the blog articles are kind of spammy so it’s not something I would care to ‘like’ anyway.
A couple of suggestions:
1) need way more articles to choose from for ‘liking’ content. In the last day I keep seeing the same 25-30 articles, most of which I do not feel are worthy of ‘liking’.
2) It would be really helpful to be able to view ‘categories’ of articles so i could at least whittle down my selections that I wanted to view. I realize that’s hard to do probably if you only have 25-30 to choose from but if this does get picked up by more people, I would suggest trying to give people the option of viewing categories of articles so they can at least try to ‘like’ things that are either interesting or related to their site without having to scroll through a ton of them one at a time.Downgrading my score of ‘2’ to a ‘1’ after another half hour of scrolling through articles. 90% of the articles were from the same two sites – both of which had a Page Rank of “0” and were pretty spammy looking. Was logged into two different sites using the plugin to test and though I saw content from the two sites mentioned above, I never once saw content from one of the sites I was testing. It’s a long process of going through mostly poor and limited content and since I kept seeing the same content over and over it makes me wonder if the two sites I was testing for were even really in the list. I never saw content from either one of them (despite seeing the two spammy sites’ content over and over again). It’s almost as if it’s a plugin to promote just a couple of spammy sites and their articles. Maybe they paid extra money and that’s why they are showing so much but that kind of defeats the purpose then. Just my two cents (or two dollars at this point).
