Very high Server Responds time for AMP pages

If you are trying to compress the AMP page try by turning that option off. something may be breaking because of the compression.

I have disabled all plugin. Still I am facing the same issue ??

That’s very strange. There are two areas which I see that can be optimized here ( https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=en-US&utm_source=PSI&utm_medium=incoming-link&utm_campaign=PSI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwhatsapp4u.com%2Famp%2F )

– Reduce server response time: responded in 5.5 seconds

– Leverage browser caching: logo.png can be Leveraged

These two can be solved with AMP Cache. But these are not the normal behavior.

Can you please contact us on https://ampforwp.com/support/ – I will personally do a technical indepth review of this.

I am also facing a similar issue. I was surprised to see that my amp pages were slowing down my VPS server and causing a load time of 4 to 6 seconds whereas in the non-amp mode the same pages was loading within 3 seconds.

The problem appears to be specifically with the server loading, rest all seems to be fine…. only the server is forced to load slow in amp mode.

Could you please look into this issue.

Can you please update the plugin to the latest[0.9.97.4] version and check again.

It seems like it has improved after the latest update, but Google pagespeed is still showing mobile speed score in RED (36).

Gtmetrix is showing the scores as 97 and 89, and fully loaded time as 4 seconds

Here’s an example URL:

With regards to your query, I was working on your concern and would like to inform you that from what I see you’ve enabled AMPby Automatic and not our AMPforWP. try to enable it and view the changes, if it’s in Red Color and low speed. Do let me know I’ll immediately get this fixed and make it the Happy color (Green) :).

However I want to inform you that I have never used any other AMP plugin to date except your plugin…. right from the first day until now I have been using ampforwp.

Could you kindly tell me why do you think that I am using some other plugin?
I can show you my plugin page screenshot if you wish.

If you recall just a week back I notified your team regarding the video embed problem in AMP pages, and your team quickly solved it for me.

Hello Amforwp team,

After the yesterdays plugin update the video embeds have again turned into grey boxes in the amp view….

…surprisingly the videos are back again and working normally in the amp view.

Sorry for getting off topic, so I would come back to the speed issue and hope we are able to get a solution for that.
