very high cpu please help

  • hello everyone
    I have very strange problem with CPU and cannot find from where is it.
    I’m using managed VPS hosting with 2GB RAM and 2 Cores, fresh wordpress installation, Mag Max theme(Themeforest) with imported 5000 post from 30 categories. News website.
    When everything is normal with 200 clients at the same time the CPU load is between 0.2 and 0.6 (2 cpus).
    Somethimes CPU going crazy and its jumps to 30 or 50 (2 cpus) about 5-10 minutes. This happens 3 or 4 thimes every day. I think sometimes it happens at the same time every day about 6pm.
    When problem occurred all clients getting this error: [client **.**.**.**] mod_fcgid: can’t apply process slot for ….., referer: …
    I’m using last versions of this plugins:
    – AdRotate
    – Contact Form 7
    – NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster
    – Popular Widget
    – WP-PostViews

    Server issues have little to do with WordPress. And with a managed server, talk to your host; you’re already paying for their support.

    They need to look in the server logs and find out why the CPU is spiking and make changes to PHP, MySQL and Aapche/Nginx for high traffic and server loads.
