Unfortunately this is just the most heavy plug in when it comes to server resources. Especially noticeable when used on a site along with woocommerce plugin, those 2 do not get on well, they are both heavy. It requires permanent updates to the database and in fact you are nearly always notified about it after login in the wp dashboard. Often times makes the site soo slow you can’t even edit it, costing you time. Elementor knows about it but even after several years later they still can not come up with a solution. There probably isn’t any since its just too bloated. We use the Pro version which makes it even more difficult to run and we use 6 core server. The principle is good, if you have no deep knowledge of wordpress and coding you can play quite a bit as an absolute beginner and start quite quickly with some hiccups but on a real site especially woocommerce site it is an absolute pain.
I we given up. The best is to shed the hog and migrate to lighter solutions without Elementor.
