• I have the pro version. All the info to make GALLERY work is available, having some key info provided in ‘photographer speak’ might help. Once you get the hang of it, its easy.

You can create individual galleries (not albums) and just use them as simple slideshows. That is the simplest easiest way to show content, like photos from a recent wedding or vacation.

Have multiple wedding galleries? make each wedding its own gallery and then combine galleries in a wedding album. You can even combine albums in albums. Note – not all of the slideshow styles work with albums. They all work with galleries.

basically galleries go into albums. Using albums in albums is a more advanced use, and it can be done.

Only gripe so far… not having an easy time changing the exit X (top right X for quit, go back, exit) The X is real small and white by default – on a cell phone its near microscopic. Is it a Gallery option, word press option, theme option… ???

I have embedded vimeo video clips in galleries, and then in an album, and centered the album on a webpage. Some will note that centering video clips from youtube/vimeo can be problematic. Can’t get a single video clip in a simple gallery slideshow to center though – this isn’t a knock on the GALLERY program. Maybe I create a single video in a gallery, and then create a single gallery album? but then my slide show choices are fewer because Albums can’t use all the slideshow styles.

This program works with Fusion Builder. I usually input slides via the Text Block. once installed the Gallery icon shows up in your text block editing area… see the big camera GALLARY icon that this webpage shows at the top… big blue one.. thats the icon that shows up in your text editor. Don’t have a text editor like Fusion Block has – you will have to go the embed code route.

Understand the process – galleries / albums are created independent of slideshows. Its not like Revolution Slider where you build your slides AND sliders in the same program and then insert into the webpage somewhere. With GALLERY you create all your galleries and albums on their own, build a collection of them, and then you create the slideshow at the time you embed an instance of a GALLERY in/on your webpage. Each instance of the GALLERY program you embed into onto a webpage keeps the settings you give it. You could create a single wedding gallery and have it embed with Mosaic style here, and Masonry style there, without touching the core wedding gallery settings to make each slideshow work.

It can be a little confusing at first trying to figure out slideshow settings, because you have multiple settings that are very similar like thumbnail settings for previews, and filmstrips and album covers (OH MY) and tweaking them all just right can take some trial and error.

I am happy – would recommend.
