Very Functional

In the most basic manner, this plugin forwards urls as expected.

Additionally, when changing the slug on a page it (a) offers to (b) automatically create a forwarding rule. This is what impresses me most. Often I elect to NOT forward as a purposefully change a slug to allow a new page substitution from a menu selection.
