• The plugin spend much time and server resource (we have a dedicated phisical server for our website) to generate any kind of feed. Every cycle overload it with 100% cpu usage making website a terrible experience for visitors. Google shopping feed makes 5 hours for 20k products, Facebook one 3 days for extract an empty feed because filters works wrong. My support request to undestood this behaviour, team reply me after 2 days that now feed are completed (this was not true and I’ll send them a screenshot). Not well guys. Also, control panel is very slowly at every click and some function is not available for all profile. I have noticed that Trovaprezzi prefined profile has wrong, since Trovaprezzi not handle child products but only parents one. I think that the plugin could be developed much better.

  • Hi junosman,

Thanks for your review and feedback, appreciated. Sorry to hear you feel our plugin and support are not efficient.

With regards to your performance remark: our plugin is designed as such that products are processed in batches of 750 each for the exact reason you mention. It should prevent it from using too much server resources or run into other server configuration limits such as time-outs. One can configure the batch size so it processes in smaller batches, this will lower server resource usage, downsize of that is that processing will take more batches and thus time. Why it still takes so much resource for you is unknown to us based on the few details you shared in this review. There could be conflicts with numerous things, such as plugins, that are causing this.

With regards to being able to add parent variable products to the feed, this was a conscious decision of ours as explained in this blog post: https://adtribes.io/can-i-add-mother-products-to-my-feed-and-leave-out-the-variations/

    Nonetheless, have a great weekend.

    All the best,
    Eva
