make sure the plugin is set to ON. if you click preview you can see the outcome.

the plugin only displays Under Construction to users that are not logged in. It is made this way so that you as the admin can still manage the site while everyone else sees “Under Construction”

What an odd review. I have tried several Under Construction plugins and have been generally unhappy with them for one reason or another, which is why I am relieved to have finally found one that works the way an Under Construction plugin is supposed to work and which I have confidently added to my repository of go-to plugins. I am not affiliated with WP Under Construction in any way, other than as a user of this plugin. I am just a very, very busy freelance web designer.

@barkingbird glad you like the plugin and thank you for your comment !

I also found this review odd, as it didn’t specify what was wrong, simply just a generic comment from a generic username. Looking into the username, one will quickly notice that the account was created right before posting of the comment, and has had no activity since.

Not sure if the review is an honest user, or someone just messing around to lower down this plugins rating, as 1 star reviews do bring down the overall rating significantly, which is unfortunate because overall the plugin has a high number of satisfied users, and the rating doesn’t reflect the actual user-experience.

thank you for taking the time to place your comments

ahhh, sure looks like a competitor trying to knock you down. I saw another bad review and in it you replied that she should look at your Support screen to see that you resolve issues quickly. I took a look at that screen and was impressed. I always enjoy seeing the plugin author’s name as the last poster, line after line, like yours. Looking at the Support screen of a potential new plugin has become one of my heavily-weighted decision factors. Great job on your part. You may want to encourage more people to rate your plugin. the guys at The Event Calendar are good at encouraging people to leave a rating – check it out.
