Very bad coding practice

I stopped looking after seeing the first two issues:

1) The thumbnails on the front page are actually the full size images, increasing page size and loading time by a multiple.

2) On the post page, the there’s no H1 tag. The title is H2 instead.

I honestly don’t understand how this theme can even get approved on the official WordPress themes directory.
