    I’m about to add gallery vertical videos. But the end result is that black boxes appear on the edges of the videos. How can I only add vertical videos with this add-on. Is this possible with the free version?

    Yes, you can add vertical videos with our FREE version.

    Go to “Video Gallery => Settings” from your “WordPress Admin Dashboard”, find the “Ratio” setting and enter “177” in the field. Save the changes and check now.

    Hope this solved your issue!

    Note: If you still find the black bars, simply adjust the RATIO value matching your video ratio.

    Hi,

    1. Edit open the file /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-video-gallery/public/templates/video-thumbnail.php

    2. Find the function call,
    the_permalink()

    3. Replace it as,
    aiovg_get_player_page_url( $post->ID )

    4. Save the changes and check now.

    But, instead of editing our source files directly, we would recommend writing an override. Please follow https://plugins360.com/all-in-one-video-gallery/child-themes-and-templates/

    Hope this helped you!
