News URL – Link to a PDF

In the “News URL” I try to add the following link:
https://www.nhs1.dev/wp-content/pdf/GI Dogs Launch News Release 1-6-12 Final.pdf
I get a message saying to enter a valid url.
I’m trying to have the “News URL” link to a “pdf” file in a new blank page.
Can this be done?

*UPDATE: Go it working, had to rename file without any spaces in the name..
