  • Hey @malakith

Yikes! We are sorry to hear about the breakage.

You are right, this is a pretty big update and, unfortunately, it can have some undesired effects on some of our customers’ sites.

As you can imagine, this is not what we are aiming for.

Our intention was not to force an update on our customers, but rather to offer significant performance upgrades and set the ground up for unique upcoming features.

The first step in making this right is to figure out what is causing the issues on your site. It could be a simple caching issue, deprecated customization, a legit bug, etc..

Whatever you do we recommend always testing updates on a staging site. That will prevent an undesirable impact on your live site.

If your site was set to use our legacy views when you updated to 6.0, your site was automatically switched to the upgraded views (V2).

The upgraded calendar views have an entirely new set of templates. If you have customized the legacy view templates, those customizations won’t apply to your site once you switch to the new views. Similarly, if you’ve used the WordPress Customizer to style the legacy views, those settings will not carry over–there’s a whole new set of Customizer options for V2.

If you’re experiencing some other issues with the update, please provide more details so we can look into it further.

    Hang in there!

    Hey @malakith!

I went to the link you originally said you needed help with and it appears that you may have sorted the issue out. If that’s so, that’s great! ??

I hope it is, but if the issue is not resolved: It does look like you are customizing the single events page in some way. Would you be able to share some more specifics on how you have customized the single events pages so I can maybe add something to the conversation?

    Best!
