Version 6.2.5 and up causing 500 error on pages with shortcode

  • Hi There,

    A recent update from version 6.2.0 to 6.2.7 is causing a 500 error on pages where I have a shortcode embedded. When I rollback to version 6.2.0, the error goes away.

    I tried version 6.2.5 and 6.2.6 as well.

    I’m on the latest version of WordPress. Nothing has changed in my plugin stack. This happens on all sites where I have a page with the MEC shortcode. The rest of the pages on the sites load fine.

    My php memory limit is set to 512m, which is the maximum allowed.

    We are using Wordify wordpress hosting. They investigated the issue and believe it may be due to a memory leak related to MEC.
