Version 5.6 generating multiple errors

I got the following error messages a few minutes ago when I installed SEO Ultimate ver. 5.6. Yes, I disabled all the other installed plugins, then reactivated SEO Ultimate, with the same result:

The plugin generated 350 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages,
problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
