I use this very good plugin for reporting options only. Tracking Code is inserted by my cookie consent plugin. Because of this i alway had the “Tracking Code” – “Basic Option” as “Disabled”.

With installing the update, it changed to Analytics 4 without asking. So i tried to change back zu “Disable” but saving the options did not change it. After reload, it is again activated to include the code in header.

    Thanks Alin, it works.

Please, really, do not change our settings. I use the same and I just discovered that my pageviews were doubled which is quite a big issue because our writers are paid based on the views…. :-/

    Thank you…

Hi and thanks for the feedback. There are some major changes with the complete transition to GA4, involving lots of settings to be removed/changed. As a rule of thumb, I avoid making changes to the tracking code, for the reason above and many others. We had a bug which once reported was fixed within hours. This isn’t an excuse by any mean, but it happened, sorry about it.
