Version 5.9.2 generating Critical Error on WordPress

  • Website front-end is fine
    Admin Login (wp-admin.php) generating ‘Critical error’
    We disabled all plugins and restored one by one until we found the problematic one – Version 5.9.2 of Contact Form 7

    1. Is 5.9.2 problematic for others?
    2. What do you advise? (rollback, wait for 5.9.3)?

    Where can we see the website in question?

    What does the critical error say?

    Thanks for responding!

    The error is the typical “There has been a critical error on this website please check your admin details”

    The website URL is probably not important because:
    – the front-end is working
    – it’s the wp-admin.php login page that generates the error
    – We have removed CF7 5.9.2 to allow us to login

    So to get back on-track, can you advise:
    1. Is version 5.9.2 problematic for others?
    2. What do you advise? (rollback, wait for 5.9.3)?

    Hola! Tengo el mismo problema. Actualicé a la nueva versión de Contact Form 7 y me salió el error crítico. Lo desactivé y ahora no me deja activarlo debido al error. Necesito los formularios en mi web y no se como solucionar este problema.
