version 5.5.2 breaks non-english permalinks

  • Version 5.5.2 has a strange side-effect: when you try to post a new article, it removes non-english characters from the URL slug. If the post title does not contain any english characters it reverts to using post id as a URL slug.

    I had to revert to version 5.5.1 to fix it.
