Hello. Getting an error where my whole wordpress wp-admin and my website cannot be accessed after upgrading to version 5.2.6. gives me a line 472 parse error. I had to roll back the plugin to version 5.2.5 for me to regain access to my site and the wp-admin.

Do you see this happening to others? Thank you.

What PHP version do you use? Please keep in mind that PHP 7 is already outdated and PHP 8 should be used.

In what file is “line 472” reported as error?

Edit: I just checked the plugin with PHP 8.1.27 in my test environment and don’t see any errors at all.

We did not upgrade it back to the newer version yet. We were waiting on the next new release to update and see how it went. Thanks for checking and we will be sure to let you know when you all release the next version.

There will not be a new version very soon. At least it would help what file the error was reported. “line 472” is not enough – it is even not clear if the error was even in my plugin or not.

So sorry for the vagueness. If we update and have the issue we will be sure to be more specific and give additional details. We failed to capture all of the details when it happened and reverted back to the previous version to get our site back up. Thanks for being prompt with replies. We will be in touch soon. Thanks again.
