Version 5.10.0 breaks custom post types

    The latest update to 5.10.0 appears to break all custom post types on our site…

    Or rather them displaying correctly on the frontend. 404 for all cpt pages.

    They are still accessible on back end and visible in wpquery, but they won’t display.

    Disabling The Events Calendar resolves issue. Please review.

  • Thanks for this report. We just did a quick test and weren’t immediately getting the same results (typical…). Are these custom post types you are registering, or are they coming from a specific plugin we could test against? If they are purely custom, any chance you have a dev/staging site where we could see this happening?

    We definitely want to get to the bottom of this one right away!

    Thanks for your response. They are custom post types I have registered.

    But good idea. I do have a staging site I could also tinker with in the hope of resolving.

    I have tested on my staging site. Broadly same code, and not seeing the same issue, so there must be another factor. I’ll investigate further.

    Hmm, it all seems fine now on our live site.

    Must have been a breach in the space-time continuum.
