Version 5.0 is a disaster

  • It was a great plugin, after version 5.0 there is nothing left of it. We used to be able to set different Dropbox locations for our different tasks, now that is suddenly no longer possible. On many websites that we manage we now also have problems with linking to Dropbox and on some websites nothing happens at all when we click on ‘Backup now’ without us getting any message.

    Please change the plugin back to how it was or we have to continue looking for a plugin that does work!

    Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the issues you’ve experienced since the update to version 5.0. We understand how frustrating this must be.

    We’re actively working on removing the two-job limitation so you can create as many backups as you need and select a storage location for each one. We’re also addressing the bugs you’ve mentioned.

    While we work hard to fix these issues and improve the plugin, you can roll back to the previous version by downloading it from here. This should restore the functionality you’re accustomed to while we focus on making the necessary improvements.
