Version 4 won't interpret the older code?

I suppose the plugin author added the “su_” prefix to prevent mix-up with other short-code plugins like jetpack…. of course the “su_” can be removed easily.. but the real problem is elsewhere… The former tabs style=”1″ (1 to 3) is now replaced with tabs class=” ” … mmm… and divider top=”0″ is now divider top=”no”… mmm… Hello? But shouldn’t the new versions of Shortcodes Ultimate be able to automatically recognize and interpret the older code? What’s the problem? I have hundreds of lines like that all through my websites (and of my clients)… I don’t understand why I must search and replace several webpages for minor code changes. In fact, I will just keep on using version 3.9 because I don’t really see the advantage of version 4+.
