• Hello,

On the newest update to the plugin, autoplay for desktop devices on Google Chrome is not working.

Site is using KGVID as shortcode

I’m able to duplicate this problem when using Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader. It looks like the video starts playing using the native video player, then the Video.js player sets up a second later and pauses the video. If I don’t use Rocket Loader I don’t see the problem. The only thing that should be different in the most recent update is the newer version of Video.js. For now I suggest installing the version 4.7.2 of my plugin if that was working correctly. You can always find previous versions at the bottom of the page in the “Advanced view

    Hi @kylegilman ,

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.

I am not using Rocket Loader.

But since you mentioned I did a few tests to see if the issue was coming from somewhere else.

I completely disabled all caches on the site including Litespeed Cache and also Cloudflare, but autoplay will not work.

We will be using the 4.7.2 per your suggestion, as it’s working fine for us.

I am sending you to your email a link for you to check that contains the latest version of your plugin to see if you see anything different from your end.
