• Hi,

As reported by other members, the version 4.3 has broken the website display (affecting, mostly column arrangments, it seems).

The [wpclv] shortcode injected triggers the issue in some case only.
On product pages, for example, only the product that were “not linked”, are affected by a break of the display. The product that were linked together by a variation were not affected?
On product listing grids, the short code caused the grid to disappear.

    Using Elementor Pro.

Have rolledback to version 4.2.8 that is stable.

    Hi @clementdouillet ,

Thanks for reaching out to us here. We received some reports about this. Our developers said that this could be an external conflict.

In order to check further, it’s recommended that you disable all other plugins, only keep WooCommerce and our plugin activated to see if the linked variations are displaying properly. Then reactivate others one by one to find the source of the conflict.

There’s no other way to check from your end and we cannot provide any further instructions as we do not have any technical support agent available on this forum to help you further troubleshooting this.

You should make full backup of your site before testing this further to be sure. We cannot help you with that so you will need to do the test on your site yourself.

We checked the latest version on our dev site and live demo https://demo.wpclever.net/wpclv/ with only WooCommerce, WPCstore theme and this plugin activated, it is working properly. Maybe the issue was triggered by a conflict with something external.

Before we could take further actions, we need to collect enough data of the errors to make adjustments. If you find anything useful after going through above steps on your site, I will write a report to our developers so that they could consider a new update to fix this. For now, they confirmed that version 4.3.0 is working properly both on our dev site and live demo.

    Best regards.

    Hi Janilyn,

    Thanks for your answer.

Obviously my website cannot work without all the plugins that form part of it (including Elementor Pro), that is not an option to run only with Woocommerce.

Concerning checking the compatibility with other plugins, unfortunately I have no time to do so.

The dev must be aware that it’s the third issue declared in 3 days, from different setups, and maybe should double check that everything is going fine – my guess is not.

From my earlier researches, it could be an issue related with lazy-loading and flex column display.

For now, I will run on 4.2.8 until new release from your part.

    Good luck to you,
    Clément

    Hi @clementdouillet ,

Of course, our developers always double checked everything before releasing any update since that would affect thousands of sites running our plugins.

Just in case you might confuse about our responsibilities:

    • We only regard our plugins functionalities based on WordPress and WooCommerce as the core. It’s not our responsibility to fix the compatibility with all other external plugins or themes. Elementor is not the only page editor for all users on WordPress. Changing the features based on issues triggered with a certain plugin or theme might affect the majority of users not using that.
    • In case we can confirm the issue was not an inherent issue within our plugin, it’s not a bug or error. It’s an external conflict. This is not included in the support scope on this forum because we are not providing any service here.
    • We are requesting for more information or feedback from users because, according to the Forum Guidelines, we are not allowed to ask for or intend to get access to the backend area of user sites. This is prohibited. But for technical issues like this, it’s nearly impossible to troubleshoot or reproduce the issue from our end because we do not use the same system (the combination of plugins, themes and ESPECIALLY, the custom codes added).
    • So far, we only receive 3 reports about display issues, but with different data of the page editor, theme and plugin combinations. There is no common thing in these reports to conclude that the recent update has an error or bug.

Since we do not receive any useful feedback from your case, our developers have released a new update concerning the reports from other two users today. Please check out version 4.3.1 on your site.

    Hi Janilyn,

Yes, saw the 4.3.1 release – will try it later.

My initial message was only to warn you of a supplementary issue – not an attempt to fix the things on my side.

Understood your way of working, only wished here to declare my problem so you know it is not concerning two people, but can affect different configuration as well.

Will let you know if the 4.3.1 fixes it.

    Congrats for your work anyway.

    Best,

    Clément

    Hi!

Confirming the same issue. I’m using WPC Linked Variation with Divi. Versions 4.3 and 4.3.1 are not displaying the variations at all. I had to revert to 4.2.8
