Hi – version 4.02 is throwing up ADA errors (when using the WAVE plugin for chrome) as follows: “Missing alternative text” and it applies to both of these classes: mwl__slider__image__thumbnail__low-res & mwl__slider__image__thumbnail__high-res portrait

When I roll back to version 3.2.2, the errors go away. But what is baffling is that on websites using both the latest version of Meow Lighbox and Meow Gallery, I get the errors on some sites but not others. Examples of both:

    Errors present: https://salonblunj.com/our-work/

    Errors NOT present: https://www.ceciltonmd.gov/photo-gallery/

Thanks in advance for your attention!

It appears this problem is still present in 4.0.3.

    Hi @gjefle,

I am going to look into this; however, since it’s a lightbox, the ALT doesn’t matter at all for anyone or anything ?? What’s ADA by the way?

ADA = Americans with Disabilities Act. It does matter because any images without alts throws up errors when doing an ADA check and websites can and do get sued for ADA non-compliance. I have several websites for which ADA compliance is mandatory by law, so this is actually a big deal for us.
