Version 4.0 Losing visual effects on widgets, any browser
-
On the point of updating from 3.40 to 4.x I have tried in vain to find in the Customizer Settings Documentation a way of defining a color for the Right Sidebar widget borders. Border color for menus and buttons, sure, and for input fields, but not for the whole widget. The effect I’m missing was obtained in Additional CSS by
.widget-wrapper { -webkit-border-radius: 4px; -moz-border-radius: 4px; background-color: #ffffff; border: 1px solid #d50032; border-radius: 1px; margin: 0 0 20px; padding: 20px; }
I can see there is a means of approximating everything but the border color, which is the organization’s “house red”. Before I am forced to get creative with typeface colors and innumerable acceptance meetings, is there either a way of defining those red lines that I’ve overlooked, or might you be working on providing that amongst more settings in the near future?
I do note there is a footer border color – that’s not the footer widgets, though, (which that CSS also handles) or is it?
Please have pity on an old cobol guy left holding this baby … ??
