Version 3.7.7 installed but suddenly I have virus(?) comments on Disqus

  • I haven’t had any response from Disqus. The problem started about an hour and a half ago. Comments appear on each page of my blog, they disappear intermittently and always when I delete them or market them as spam – but they reappear as soon as I refresh the page.

    The wp security strength meter is at 335, I would say my site is well-protected so mystefied how this happened.

    I’ll try again to contact Disqus, it looks like a security loophole on their part.

    Hi donmcleman are you using a cache plugin by any chance?

    Hi, mbr, thanks for the input. I am using a cache plugin, also Cloudflare which caches pages. However when I switch these off and clear the caches the problem still remains.
