• Dear Everyone ??

One of the servers went down it started ringing a bel for me to was to start updating wordpress.

At this moment version 3.4 is back up and running.
As I try to update to the present version

    …I receive the following “error”:
Download failed.: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

After searching the forum I had no luck ..as some responses says i need to change my “certificate” …but there isnt any (at least not in the “includes” directory.

Im now 5 hours further, as I realise im not the first with this kind of issues…and I dont like to “spoil” your time…but sadly i cant seem to find the solution, im stuck….so please:

Could anyone put me in the right direction ?

    Thank you !

    Henry.

If the automatic update is failing, download WordPress from www.remarpro.com and upload it to your site via FTP. Given that you’re on 3.4, it *may or may not* have issues with your theme and plugins, as I assume those are equally out of date. Backup first.
