Version 3.3 Release

    Hi all,

    Apologies for the delay in releasing version 3.3, which I’d intended to do sooner than this. When I scrolled down the forum here I noticed a lot of bugs that Applian hadn’t picked up on that still need to be investigated. As well as this YouTube have made some changes to the API which I could do with adding.

    I have a database on which I add any ideas or bugs and then assign them to relevant release. You can see the current state of 3.3 here…

    I’ll be building this up over the coming days. Obviously, some stuff won’t be implemented immediately and this will be retained on the database to be assigned to another release.

    Meantime, let me know of anything you’d like to see and I’ll add it to the list!

    Righty ho. It’s all ready. However, it’s now Friday and a release on a Friday is never good (particularly as I’m busy with “family stuff” at weekends). So, it’s going to be Monday now.

    No support will be available until it’s officially released on www.remarpro.com, but you can give it a go if you’d like. If you have any issues then you can simply re-download the older version of www.remarpro.com. However, if you do try it and find a problem, please let me know on this forum.

    If I download this will I have to upgrade again next week? (I hear you cry)

    If no changes are made then, no. It carries the revision of 3.3 so you shouldn’t be prompted again. Essentially updating to the above is no different from getting the official prompt next week. Just earlier.

    However, if any problems are reported I’ll fix them and release the code next week as 3.3.1, forcing your WordPress installation to prompt you for an update.

    IT’S ALIVE!

    Version 3.3 is now available. I had no feedback from the pre-release mentioned above (either that or no-one tried it) so I’ve added it to the WordPress repository.
