V3.00 has been released. If you have any issues with it, please reply to this thread. Thanks!

I just updates my plugin and got this error on it when activating…

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in Migrator.php on line 55

Tried to delete and reinstall but it did the same thing.

This error is due to the use of anonymous functions, which are supported only in PHP5.3+. YourPHP version is probably older than that. I am in the process of getting rid of the anonymous functions. Will make a release later today or tomorrow with a fix.

Just pushed a release that should take of this issue. Please give V5.04 a try.

That fixed that one. now I have

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in google-adsense-widget.php on line 25

The fix for the T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM error I have in mind is not an elegant one. I will try it out locally and push it later today.

This issue is now fixed. The plugin shouldn’t throw an error even on PHP5.30-
    Please check.

This did fix all the errors. I have it going again. Only problem that I am having now is that no matter what I set the options for I can not get the widget or ads to show up on anything but post.

Could you post your blog URL so that I can take a look?

https://www.oldfolksadventures.com/ Here it is. the widget should show up on the left. But only shows up on post. I have all the suppressed turning off but the rss feed.

    thanks

I cannot see any indication that the plugin ran on your home page. Could you ensure that the home page is not a cached copy? Could you also try with all suppress flags turned off (including RSS) just in case?

Also, please ensure once more that the options “Home Page” and “Front Page” in the panel “Suppressing Ad Blocks” are turned off. You can do that by revisiting the settings page. By default, the plugin is set to suppress ads on your home page and front page.

I tested the plugin again on my test servers, and it seems to work fine on the home/front page if set to display ads.

I would like to know if anybody else is facing the same issue before investing time into trying to investigate further.
