    Hi @oskam,

    You’re running outdated versions of the software. The latest update of WordPress is version 5.7.2 and of WooCommerce is version 5.5.1. Can you clarify if you have any issue updating from WP Admin > Dashboard > Updates? You can take a screenshot using a tool like https://snipboard.io.

    Thanks.

    @oskam,

    There was a recent critical vulnerability found, detailed here:

    https://woocommerce.com/posts/critical-vulnerability-detected-july-2021/

    As noted in that blog post, WooCommerce pushed out updates to each of the release branches. This is why you saw your WooCommerce plugin updated from whatever previous 3.9.x version you were running, to this latest 3.9.4 release branch.

    As you can see, this is good since your site is now no longer affected by that critical vulnerability! Also, as @rainfallnixfig recommended, it would still be a good idea to update your WordPress, WooCommerce, and other plugins and themes, to the latest versions as soon as feasible.

    I Hope this helps explain the situation!

    Thanks for the responses.
    I know I am using outdated version and I do want to update but I am using plugins that are not compatible with the new Woocommerce versions.
    I don’t know yet if the functions of the plugins are already included in the new version of Woocommerce. If so, I would not need them anymore.

    I am going to install and test the new version locally when I have everything in order I can perform the update.

    Thankfully I am safe now because of the patch, thanks for that.

    Best regards. Henk
