version 3.3.1 French won’t enable

    On my French WP site, version 3.3.1 of this plugin won’t enable. I am getting a fatal error saying that it runs out of memory. I had to go back to a previous version (3.2.2) which works fine.
    Version 3.3.1 works fine on my English site.
