Version 2.1 problem/conflict

thanks for the awesome plugin. I enjoyed it a lot until I recently updatetd to 2.1. Same problem as angel777man: When both buddypress and Page Builder are active the buddypress pages (eg groups, editing groups, activity stream etc) automatically switch into the homepages layout. What happens is that all the content that is actually there is being squeezed into the first column of the first row of the Page Builder layout.

We are thinking about switching from Drupal to WordPress. Buddypress will be essential for that. Hope you guys can fix this!

Hi Everyone

I’m having a hard time recreating this issue. So far, I’ve done a fair amount of testing with both Page Builder 2.1 and the development version of 2.1.1. Everything seems to be working perfectly for me, but maybe there’s something about the configurations that you’re using that’s causing things to break.

Maybe this is some sort of 3 way conflict between Page Builder 2.1, BuddyPress and another plugin. Can anyone who’s getting this issue try disable all plugins besides these 2 and see if that fixes the issue?

Also, if anyone has a second, a plugin list and current theme would be useful for me to try recreate this issue.

Hopefully we can diagnose and fix this ASAP.

I’m using Moesia theme free version.

When I installed Buddypress yesterday, I saw all pages of Buddypress no working. Then I disabled all plugins except Buddypress, and it worked normally.
I activated one plugin at a time, so I detected that when I use Page Builder, all pages of Buddypress stop working, when I deactivate Page Builder, Buddypress works normally.

Now I rolled back Page Builder ver 2.0.7 and everything’s ok

Thanks viper_boy, that’s very useful. I’ll see if I can recreate the issue.

Unfortynately Page Builder have conflict also with Collapse-Pro-Matic plugin (maybe with free Collapse-O-Matic too, I don’t know), even after the update to version 2.1.1. WP update page is totally messed up (screenshot).

If I refresh update page two times, problem is almost gone. If I access update page again after ca 1 minute wait, problem will cycle again.

I have talked with Collapse-Pro-Matic support and they said problem will occur only with active Page Builder plugin, they can’t reproduce same problem with different circumstances.

I can also give my test site access so you can examine problem yourself.

@digitohter – when you post 10 duplicate threads in a row – the spam filter thinks you are a spammer – and all of your posts go there – please don’t do that.

@wpyogi, sorry, I don’t want to act like a spammer, but it’s not my fault. After the pressing “Post” button nothing showed up and post will be visible 5-10 minutes later. Nothing is wrong with www.remarpro.com forum.

The spam filter makes mistakes, but you are making it worse by posting like crazy :)! We mods try to check it very often, so just be a bit more patient, please.

After the extra research I can say it’s Collapse-Pro-Matic caused problem, so please ignore my issue.

Do you know if the new version 2.1.2 fix this prob. with buddypress?

Hi angel777man. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to recreate the issue with BuddyPress yet so I haven’t been able to fix it.

Maybe this is some sort of 3 way conflict between Page Builder 2.1, BuddyPress and another plugin. Can you try temporarily disable all plugins besides these 2 and see if that fixes the issue?

Can you also give me a list of the plugins you’re running.

Like viper_boy. I downgraded to Page Builder 2.0.7 as the new version messes up Buddypress.
