  • Deleting all the tables containing ai1ec_ in their prefix deletes all the events in your database, but not completely as part of them is stored in the WP posts section of the database (the event description mainly).

I hope that was what you wanted when you did that(?)

It would have been simpler to just disable, then delete the plugin, which does all this for you.

    worth upgrading to version 2.0.8?
I went back to 1.10.9 (with difficulty)
ow to remove the warning box new version?

2.0.9 is due out in the next week. I’d wait for that as there are few more fixes in that.

You should not need to delete any tables while upgrading. I would simply follow the manual upgrading guide if you want to upload using a ZIP file: https://time.ly/document/troubleshooting/perform-manual-upgrade/

This should keep all your events and most of your settings.

If you don’t want to keep any events or settings, just uninstall the old version and install the new one.

As always, I recommend taking a backup of your site files AND your complete WordPress database (all tables) before you do any of this. 1.x to 2.x is a major change and the only easy way to step back to 1.x is to restore from a backup.

    Notes:
If you want Posterboard view, you also need to download the Extended Views add-on from Time.ly. It’s free, but you need to go through the cart system to download it (cost of $0). The account you create to go through the cart system is also the login for the Time.ly support forum (at https://time.ly/forums/ ), which the staff and moderators (none of which are staff) monitor more frequently.
There is no more facebook integration for free. You need to purchase the FB add-on to get this functionality. If you want more than one purchasable add-on, consider the Pro bundle, which gives you access to all the for-pay add-ons for just a bit more than the cost of one add-on.

PS: I don’t work for Time.ly, and I have not actually purchased any of the add-ons for my site. I am however a moderator on their forum.
