version 20.4 not saving

    Hi,

    I tried changing a few setings in the crawl optimization but when I save I get “Oops! Something went wrong while saving.” oddly if I leave the setting and go back the settings I changed are still there.

    I am using the free version

    I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with changing settings on our new Crawl Optimization page in Yoast SEO 20.4.

    I tried to reproduce this, but I was able to save without having this issue. Having said this, we’d like to know if every other plugin, theme and WordPress core are up to date on your site? If not, please install available updates.

    If the issue persists after updating, please do a conflict check and check if the issue also happens in the default environment of the troubleshooting mode where only Yoast SEO is active.

    Hi,

    I installed the health plugin but nothing shows up relating to conficts, the yoast still shows the error when saving but it is saving, so maybe others will confirm they see the message as well.

    I also see that message when saving settings.
