Hi there, I need to urgently rollback the last update of your plugin Easy Google Fonts, to version 1.4.4. The new version (2.0.0) doesn’t work on my site.

Is there a copy of the old version somewhere, please?

    Thanks

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ll update the plugin with a fix later today that will solve your issue. Thanks

OK, thanks, but it would be better if you would also commit older versions to the repository trunk, not just new releases, so we can rollback if needed urgently. I have a very irate customer now ??

    Hi @cobberas63,
I’ve just released a new version. Could you upgrade and let me know if that solves your issue please. Thanks

Version 2.0.1 broke my web site. Literally all of the fonts are wrong now. Help!!!! Where is the old version???

    Hi @karlaberg
I’ve just visited your website and it seems as though our plugin isn’t activated or being used on the frontend. Could you confirm that the plugin is definitely activated on your end please and I’ll be able to help you further. Thanks

It appears to be activated in the WordPress Dashboard. (Which is to say, it appears in boldface, with a light blue background, and a “Deactivate” button under the plugin name.) Also, it was activated before, and I changed nothing when I updated the plug besides pressing the update button. Thanks.

@sunny_johal Just for yucks, I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, but no luck. Any news on this? Thanks.

I’ve been looking at the plugin code and I can’t see why this would be happening. Could you go into the customizer and set your fonts, save it and see if that fixes the issue please.

I believe I am having a similar issue. After updating your plugin today my fonts are not displaying properly. https://www.writesofway.org/ should be using Overpass. Thank you!

@sunny_johal Thanks. Just looked in the customizer. All font families are blank, and all font weights, etc. read “Theme Default.” When I manually set one, it does take effect. But it appears that *ALL* of my old settings were lost in the update.

    How do I recover these?

Hey @sunny_johal I’m having the same problem. Even when I have reset the fonts in Customiser they aren’t working. I’m using WordPress 5.7.2, I’m not that clued up on the complicated aspects of WordPress so a lot of the jargon doesn’t make sense to me but the plugin is updated and activated.

    My website is https://www.aureliamagazine.com

Please advise if you have the old version I can reinstall, we have content going out every day at the moment and ideally the website needs to look the way I’ve designed it.

    Thanks.

@sunny_johal version 2.0.1 is working, thank you, but I’ve had to repeat all the settings I made in Theme Typography, which has been a huge waste of my work time as well as getting my customer very upset because his website wasn’t as designed.

Hey @cobberas63, how did you get it to work? For me, in Customiser I can see the changes I’ve made but they won’t actually take effect after I’ve pressed Publish. Thanks
