Version 2.2.0 errors, not sending email

    Hello, I’ve recently updated the plugin to version 2.2.0.
    I just got this email from WordPress: Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue
    In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Email Verification for WooCommerce.
    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 16 of the file ..
    wp-content/plugins/emails-verification-for-woocommerce/includes/background-process/class-alg-wc-ev-bkg-process.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Background_Process’ not found in
    plugins/emails-verification-for-woocommerce/includes/background-process/class-alg-wc-ev-bkg-process.php:16
    emails-verification-for-woocommerce/includes/class-alg-wc-ev-core.php(245): require_once()
    wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): Alg_WC_Email_Verification_Core->init_bkg_process(”)
    and many more errors.

    Everything was working fine in the version 2.1.6.

    Please advise.

    Hi @customfit ,

    This is odd as we didn’t make any changes to the background processing class, and we’re calling it from WooCommerce itself.

    Anyway, that’s ok. I just released a new version (v2.2.1) and now I’m checking for the class. If it’s not present I’m forcing it to be loaded.

    Please update the plugin and let me know if it works better for you ??

    Hi Pablo, I updated the plugin and it seems to be working fine. I got the confirmation email and activated the account.
